Food Drive:
All Day,
Bring in non-perishable food items for the Emergency Food Shelf Network.  The mission of the Emergency Food Shelf Network is to provide high quality food and essential support services to hunger relief programs in the community.

We're collecting Sat. 11th and 18th at the Info Booth.  Our goal is 250 lbs so every can helps!!!!

Custom Pumpkin Carving:
All Day! 
Buy your pumpkins from our farmers then have Neil Nguyen of Dim Sum Street carve them into beautiful custom creations! 

Kids Activity: 
9am-1pm
, Vegetables are usually for eating, not for playing, but today will be a rare exception to that rule when you visit with In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre (HOBT). Come create a vegetable puppet with us— whether it’s the evil bad guy or hero of the day, we’ll bring new meaning to playing with your food! Also, find out what’s going on at HOBT this fall and winter.



Cooking Demo:
10am, Lynne Rosetto Kasper teaches us how to make soups of all kinds and "How to Eat Supper".  No need to take notes during the demo, you can get a copy of her book following the demo.


Book Signing:
11am
(after the cooking demo), Enjoyed the cooking demo?  Get a signed copy of Lynne's book, "How to Eat Supper" and keep yourself well-fed with new recipes over the long winter months!


Live Music:

11am – 1pm, Bill Geezy and The New Deal and the Light of the Moon Band bring roots, Americana, blues and bluegrass to our market day!

Mill City Museum
10am - 5pm

For Kids: Splash in the museum’s water lab, explore the interactive exhibits and nose around in the Bake lab.

See the film, "Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat", a whirlwind tour of our fair city, written by and starring local humorist, playwright and radio personality Kevin Kling.  The show plays every 30 minutes and is included in museum admission.
