All Day, Stop by the farm to visit Vera our goat and her barnyard pals!
KIDS Activity:
8am-1pm, Come make a beautiful hanging butterfly out of plant-dyed wool roving. This simple project will only take a few minutes to make and the hanging butterflies can be used as a decoration at home. Sponsored by the City of Lakes Waldorf School.
Apple Tasting:
10am-1pm (while supplies last), Try samples of local apples, choose your favorite and STOCK UP!
Cooking Demo:
10am, Chefs Heather Hartman and Chris Bundy of spoonriver show you how to create delicious, simple dishes with the season's best apples!
Live Music:
11am – 1pm, Sooth your soul with beautiful Eurpean music by Mark Stillman and Francine Roche.
Book Signing:
8am-1pm, Sesquicentennial Cookbook: Make it Minnesotan! Check out this quintessential Minnesota cookbook, meet the authors and sample some of the delicious recipes!
Mill City Museum
10am - 5pm
For Kids: Splash in the museum’s water lab, explore the interactive exhibits and nose around in the Bake lab.
See the film, "Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat", a whirlwind tour of our fair city, written by and starring local humorist, playwright and radio personality Kevin Kling. The show plays every 30 minutes and is included in museum admission.
